Lifespan Integration (LI) & Trauma Recovery • Washington State
Show your nervous system that the threat is safely in the past.
Gentle, body-based clinical therapy for Washington residents ready to heal childhood wounds, process relational trauma, and shift attachment anxiety at a deep, physical level.
You do not have to relive your worst days over and over to heal.
Many people avoid trauma therapy because they are afraid they will have to describe, relive, and get flooded by painful memories. Lifespan Integration (LI) works differently. Developed by therapist Peggy Pace, it is a gentle, body-based method that uses brief, repeated reviews of a Time Line: a series of memory images from across your life. Watching this Time Line repeatedly helps your body-mind recognize, at a deeper level than talk therapy alone can reach, that time has passed and the danger is over. This connects old feelings and patterns to the events that created them, so your nervous system can respond to today’s life in a more age-appropriate way, without requiring you to retell the stories in detail.
“Traumatic memories are like files left open on a computer desktop, always draining the battery. Lifespan Integration gently closes those files, showing your system that it is safe now.”
Why your body keeps reacting to a past that is already over
When you survive emotional neglect, a sudden life shock, or childhood trauma, the survival part of your brain freezes those moments. Because those memories remain raw and un-integrated, your physical body has little sense of time passing. When something triggers you in your adult life, your nervous system fires the same panic, throat tightness, or urge to run.
You can try to rationalize with your thoughts, saying, “I am safe, that was years ago.” But the body doesn’t speak logic. It speaks sensory timing. Every time you feel triggered, your physical system is, in a sense, still living in the threat.
Lifespan Integration helps update that system. By reviewing a brief timeline of your life’s memories, repeated a number of times, your brain can begin to map the distance between then and now. This helps your younger, stuck parts recognize that they are safe in your adult present. The physical bracing eases, and you can settle more fully into your own life.
Healing the timeline of your personal history
Lifespan Integration is highly effective for clearing deeply held survival states that talk therapy struggles to reach. We focus on:
Healing Childhood Neglect & Trauma
If you grew up in an environment where your emotional needs were dismissed, ignored, or punished, your system learned to hide or protect itself by staying small. We use the LI timeline to help your younger self recognize that you have grown up, you have survived, and it is safe to step forward.
Shifting Insecure Attachment Patterns
Deep relational anxiety, fear of abandonment, or a pattern of codependent people-pleasing are often rooted in our earliest childhood relationships. We use attachment-focused LI timeline sweeps to build self-soothing capacity, helping you feel steadier and more secure in your present relationships.
Processing Sudden Relational Trauma
If you have survived sudden shocks like betrayal, gaslighting, narcissistic abuse, or a high-conflict divorce, your system can stay stuck in an intense fight-or-flight state. We process the charge of these relational memories so they stop triggering physical dread.
Support for your mind, body, and boundaries
We combine clinical body-centered processing with traditional psychotherapy and self-regulation tools to anchor your healing.
Holistic Therapy
A secure, attuned clinical space incorporating somatic tracking, EMDR, and parts work customized around your nervous system goals.

Hi, I’m Isabella Koepf
I’m a somatic trauma therapist who helps Washington residents connect with their physical bodies, process chronic hypervigilance, and find genuine safety.
I understand how exhausting it is to hold your system in constant hypervigilance, worrying about everyone else’s needs while trying to ignore the stress building inside your own body. I hold a non-judgmental, warm clinical space for your recovery.
By combining body-centered somatic therapy with parts work (IFS), EMDR, and soothing daily routines, we slowly help your physical system release historical stress and settle back into the present moment on your own terms.
